Paraeducator Services
Keystone AEA realizes the importance of para support in enhancing the educational achievements of children. The Keystone AEA Paraeducator Committee assists over 900 paras in their work by providing:
- Individual check-out ID numbers to enable paras to directly access materials from the Keystone AEA Media Center
- Resource materials in the Keystone AEA Instructional Media lab
- Needs assessments to determine para needs each summer
- Inservices on different topics within local school districts and through Keystone AEA for paraeducators
- Help to schools in meeting the state requirements of providing inservices to their paras
- Paraeducator Certification program based on state criteria (Level 1, Recertification and Level 2)
